The Lysander Piano Trio, a winner of the 2012 Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition, has been praised by the Strad for its “…incredible ensemble, passionate playing, articulate and imaginative ideas and wide palette of colours.” These qualities have made the Trio a standout at other competitions, with top honors at the 2010 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, the 2011 Coleman Chamber Ensemble Competition (Grand Prize), and the 2011 J. C. Arriaga Chamber Music Competition (First Prize).

2016-17 Season Preview
The 2016-17 is yet again an auspicious one for the trio. Among other exciting performances, the ensemble gives debut recitals at Spivey Hall in Atlanta and at The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in Palm Beach, collaborates with eminent clarinetist Charles Neidich for the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society and violist Jennifer Stumm at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, and embarks on a six-concert tour of Israel.
The Trio's debut CD "After A Dream" (2014, CAG Records, VIctor Elmaleh Collection) continues to receive critical attention including a feature in the New York Times Classical Playlist praising the ensemble's "polished and spirited" playing.
